Blogging
I blog for an audience, I blog for comments. An audience helps me write, comments help my writing. I blog for me.
Why do you blog?
I've been thinking about that a lot, everyone has their own reasons for blogging and many people have posted their reasons, the few I've read have always been fascinating.
If you don't blog, why not?
When I'm thinking about something interesting I keep thinking about it until I run out of new ways of looking at it.
What makes you stop and read a blog?
Frankly, most blogs I've seen are a nightmare, background music you can't shut off, garish color schemes, poor layouts, poor font choices, a cacophony of distractions. I have no idea what those blogs are about, I can't read them. If they're easy on the eyes and ears then I can find out if they're interesting.
What types of blogs do you like to read?
Another frank admission, I rarely visit some of the blogs on my blogroll because of their setup, I find them very interesting but they're very hard to read.
All comments would be greatly appreciated.

Why do I blog?
Mainly to stave off boredom. A smaller part of me thinks I do it because if I don't, these useless thoughts will stay in my head, repeating over and over. When I blog I type it all out, settle it with myself, then move on. Most of the time anyway.

The format needs to be simple, the title or description need to be catchy, and I would prefer the blog be of a more personal nature - a diary so to speak. Although I do have one blog I visit which is complete bullshit, but he has my sense of humor so I continue to stop by.

I think I covered that on the last question, didn't I? I can also add - not only would I like for the blog to be more personal, but also read along with someone who may be dealing with similar issues to mine.
Blogging is the ultimate in 'reality television' for me. It can be extremely interactive. I think that's my addiction to it. It's almost like having a license to spy :)
