Red Defender

detail studied the young halfer, he liked much of what he saw but he also saw seeds of destruction that had the promise of a terrible harvest. If this one survived his quest, a quest of summation, he would perhaps become even more powerful than detail himself. At his graduation detail would never have survived the quest he found for Relg and his quest, until Relg's, had been the toughest halfer quest ever. When he studied Relg detail feared what he saw, the boy would surely be destroyed. detail nearly lost himself on his fledgling quest but the one he found for Relg was one detail wasn't certain he could complete even now.

"Find the hidden way to the isle of the Black Wizards and seek a boon from its defender. With it you may be able to enter the castle, within lies your key."

No halfer Relg ever heard of had to face a dragon on their fledgling quest. Few full wizards have faced a dragon and lived to tell about it but the professors had said that there is success in every quest if only it can be found. Somehow, Relg was going to have to figure out a way to get a dragon to grant him a favor.
