Seventh Day

God has an excellent work ethic... he works six days a week. But when he takes the day off, it's a very long day. "And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made." It's still Sunday for God and he's sitting around watching his works play out, kind of like the Sunday game on tv. Time means something very different to God, it's just another creation of his, something he did on the first day of work. Here's my big question though, if that was God's example, a six day work week, and it only takes an hour to write a sermon and another hour to deliver it, what do his messengers on Earth do the rest of the time?

BTW... On the eighth day God hands in his papers and turns the business over to his kid. Six days of work and he retires... nice work if you can get it... I guess his speakers aren't as bad as I thought....

What I really wonder about is the day before the first.

John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

I know a demon fighter but I lost track of him over the years... anyway I think at the time he was trying to get out of it, it was gettin to be too much work.

I visited the fighter's home once and wondered how many dirty dishes were on his desk, now, there are times I wonder the same thing about my own.

The only way to really cast out a demon is with the word.

Word - uttered by a living voice, embodies a conception or idea
In it earliest use - to lay
cause to lie down, put to sleep
to collect, gather, pick out

With - to the advantage
joined
a strengthened form of before

So who actually was with God there in the before the first day... it seems says it was someone who'd been there before him? The Snail an I theorize it's God's mate... the Holy Spirit. Now... her I like.... I think.
