At Last
The Blogger demon has been exorcised for the time being and I can move on to other things. Not sure what yet but you can breath a sigh of relief, I'm done prohesyin and preachin... for now. When you can't find a demon fighter you gotta do what you gotta do.
Damn... all that work to get on and now I have nothing to say, couldn't hold onto the the ideas I had.
Ever feel peaceful? What makes you feel that way? What gives you peace? Before battle my character can only think of peace. He finds it in his art but is that enough? What about the times when our art hides from us, is it always wretchedness?

Ahh, peaceful...lessee...um, howzabout when Blogger behaves herself and doesn't mess with your mind and your blog? LOL.
I feel your pain when it comes to the Blogger beast. She is a wily and sometimes wicked force to be reckoned with--but also a godsend to me.
I've been feeling generally peaceful for quite awhile now, knock wood. There's a lot less negative stress in my life these days, and the only "stress" I really have at this point is positive--namely, the compulsion to write, finally, about what I choose to, when and how I choose to.
Somehow, although the world outside is a scary place, and bloggers certainly do not ignore this, for me the blogosphere represents a safe haven where everyone can speak their mind and exchange views without undue stress (unless they're looking for some--lol).
But in a way, maybe too much "peacefulness" is less than ideal, esp. if one is perpetually hiding in a safe little coccoon. So now that the horrific NYC summer is coming to a close, I will try to venture out into the "real world" and enjoy the turning leaves, the delicious chill in the air, and the renewed energy and vitality that hits NYC this time of year. Sometimes, I suppose one has to go out and seek peace rather than wait for it to merely "descend" unbidden.
I believe you're right, Elvira... peace rarely seems to descend.
