Open

I'm trying to be more open, more connected. All day yesterday I tried to write something but couldn't. I was planning to write about a particular character but, try as I might, I couldn't find a thing to say about him, even though there is a lot to be said. Finally, late into the night, I quit trying and started relaxing and, like that, the solution came, I should have been writing about someone else all along. I only got a paragraph written but it opened the way for more.
