Sauce
Howya doin?" "Good, how you doin?" "Good, go ahead and order when you're ready." "Three Fareelian breeks and a chocolate shake." "Any green, yellow or blue sauce?" "Both."
We're not supposed to be asking them if they want sauce when they're ordering, it used to be the rule but that's changed. Waiting to ask when they get to the window gives one more face-to-face encounter, so the Fast-n-Eat reasearch determines. Doesn't matter that it increases fly-thru time and decreases my probability of getting a raise, research is research. I don't care, I ask when they order.
"Howya doin?" "A mini-bite and six waters." "Any green, yellow or blue sauce?" "No" "One cred, please pull forward." After rushing to pour the six waters and hand out their one item I see the customer is still sitting at the window. "May I help you?" "Where's my sauce?"
We're only supposed to hand out one sauce for every two food items even though everyone wants more. "I'll take a Howdy Burger and twenty yellow sauces." It's not my sauce, they can smother their food in it, take it home for later or throw it out the window for all I care but when they count my remaining sauces at the end of the day it's me that has to fill out all the sauce shortage forms.
